Triphala churna is an excellent combination of three herbs called haritaki, Vibhitaki, and Amalaki. Regular use of Triphala ensures the removal of accumulated toxins due to unhealthy food habits. Triphala churna is also given for regulating the functioning of the stomach and the colon. Since it is a nonaddictive drug and with no known side effects for prolonged use it can be given to elderly patients to correct digestive abnormalities.
